Reason #31

.......(ADVERTISEMENT)

So, the last time I ever played (significantly) in a football game, was 2006. My college playing career consisted of a lot of bag holding and SCOUT team work.  I did manage to make the travel team, and actually get into the game (a few times), however it was only after the score lopsided (in our favor).  Therefore, that game in 2006 is something that I will Never FORGET. In all honesty. I did not PLAN for that to be the last.  The game turned out to be another one of the classic battles between Good Counsel Vs. Dematha, At Navy Stadium.  Two of the very prominent high school football programs in the country.  We lost, Dematha was ...... Damn GOOD, that year. We were out matched.  The two weeks prior, Dematha beat us 42-14.  Therefore, that fact that we took them in to overtime, exceeded many peoples expectations.  Our coach was not big on Motivational Speeches before games, he was all business all the time, which is one of the reasons that you can google "Good Counsel Football" after your done with this blog, and SEE for yourself what happens when persistence, hard work, vision, quality scouting, and belief, are put into action.  Before the game Coach Milloy admitted to not being a great motivational speaker, and he said, "I invited someone who IS, Coach Herman Boone,  From Remember the Titans." Coach Boone gave a riveting speech, and we went out, and came VERY close to pulling off one of the biggest upsets in high school football history, People would be STILL talking about that game if we got em '

So, before I start "rambling" about that game.  I do want you to clearly understand the connection with sports and motivational speaking.  Motivational speaking is the backbone to the coach-player relationship.  It's a necessity, because of the fact that a coaches voice can easily become redundant to a player, when outside speakers come in and talk to players.  It allows the player to gain perspective, and understand that they are a part of a bigger picture, and appreciate the game.

As I am sure you have noticed.  The images above, display HOW' motivational speakers get their name out there, and establish a reputation.  Just Think, How beneficial it would be for them to have those images on ......Try-Outs........gym44

.....Where there is a motivational speaker, there is usually a motivational BOOK, these would be GREAT products to advertise on TRY-OUTS.......

After watching the videos, you will clearly SEE how motivational tactics and sports travel along the same path.....

Be Careful, You'll feel like running through a BRICK wall after watching these

Reason #30

For a moment.  Indoctrinate yourself into the FOOTBALL world.  TOUGH competition, constant ego checks, an environment that requires you to either be "ALL THE WAY IN, OR ALL THE WAY OUT."  Having the opportunity to be a part of that atmosphere for a variety of programs.  There are two phrases that have universal usage.

PHRASE #1
"Hit the showers"

PHRASE #2
"Keep the quarterbacks, CLEAN!!"

If you physiologically merge, the intent of those two phrases. What product do you think will be a necessity as it pertains to not only football teams, but ALL sports teams?  Hit the ...........SHOWERS, Keep the quarterback.........CLEAN.

Reason #29

"It's good to have an end to journey toward; but it's the journey that matters, in the end"
- Ursula K. LeGuin

(Pay close attention to 1:09-2:09)

As we are in the midst of another NCAA Basketball Tournament, I figured it is only appropriate that I give a brief look at the evolution of Dwayne Wade, Just so you can fully understand the importance of a TRY-OUT (an opportunity), especially as it pertains to players who have developed over TIME, and could have VERY easily not been discovered.  Watching the video, you clearly SEE and HEAR a strong level of dissatisfaction, in regards to the current system that is used to find players.  The agitation in Coach Creans voice sounds like someone who is in need of a direct line of communication to that group of players, that haven't yet been discovered by the MEDIA...........gym44

......However, Dwyane Wade managed to Win an NBA Championship, and be awarded the Finals MVP........ all of that Wearing Converse.....

....HELLO!!....At this point D.Wade was becoming VERY hard to ignore.... His career was taking off.....and the opportunity to be a part of the JORDAN Brand is something that any young basketball player from Chicago would not pass up......

Reason #28

VERY IMPORTANT.....WATCH!!!!!

So, lets breakdown the concept.  You have two colossal forces. The popular music group "One Direction," and the beloved quarterback of the New Orleans Saints Drew Brees.  Two very large fan bases, very accomplished people fighting over a PEPSI.  The male EGO is going back and forth, like a table tennis match, and a compromise only becomes possible when Drew Brees, offers them a.......TRY-OUT.  Just imagine if it was your product that was responsible for the TRY-OUT in which the NEXT Drew Brees was found.  For the Companies that compete with Pepsi, I'd suggest you get on this ASAP.  Something tells me,  Based on the images below. That Pepsi understands the magic that happens when a platform for potential greatness is CREATED............gym44

Reason #27

One of the most exciting things to happen during a baseball game is the "slide."  The second the bat hits the ball, There is a rush of anticipation as action takes place.  It feels no different then watching an unscripted movie, depending on the time of the game, and the stand point from where you are watching.  What happens in the next 10 seconds can be extremely Gut Wrenching

So, Now that the 10 seconds has passed.  The inevitable task of WASHING!! Those uniforms will take place.  So, the NEED for laundry detergent will also, be inevitable.  Therefore, if you have products in which will get those uniforms cleaned.  Sports is a productive way to give your company the pedestal, it needs when it comes time for purchasing the next batch of laundry detergent.  ONLY...... $50 a Try-Out..........gym44

Reason #26

Football fan or not.  That is one cool looking picture.  Now, put yourself in the shoes of the young player that has aspirations of playing football at it's highest level one day.  That picture will undoubtedly create a sudden burst to his imagination, to the point in which, his MIND physically puts himself there.  I can tell you from experience, these days a VISOR is as much as a part of a football teams repertoire, as the actual helmet and shoulder pads.  Above is a picture of the late great Sean Taylor, he lives on in the minds of many. His play on the field was second to none.  He played at the University of Miami from 2001-2003, and what you will notice, if you look at the very top of his face mask.  His Visor has a symbol "O."  Which is the symbol for Oakley Sunglasses.  Over the years, that has CHANGED.

Notice any changes in those symbols.  You have three different companies, that are primarily known for clothes and shoes, Now. so conveniently.  Making eye wear products.  My goals aren't to berate Nike, Under Armor, or Adidas.  This is simply showing you, that the major corporations of the world, very intently, make sure they are putting there brand in front of athletes of the NEXT generation.  I'd recommend you do the same. Starts with a Try-out..............gym44

Luckily for OAKLEY, their products are not just for football players.  (www.oakley.com) Look for yourself, their products range from all types places.  But, you will notice.  As usual, that SPORTS, is the cornerstone to there ........(ADVERTISING)....needs.

Reason #25

Did you hear about the rose that grew
from a crack in the concrete?
Proving nature's law is wrong it
learned to walk with out having feet.
Funny it seems, but by keeping it's dreams,
it learned to breathe fresh air.
Long live the rose that grew from concrete
when no one else ever cared.

Reason #24

I must admit, this was clever.  The way that state farm used the word "assist," to represent the connection between basketball, and insurance was an original idea.  And, Original Ideas always grab the attention of people.  But, lets make sure the word insurance is properly defined,  so we can further understand the need for both original ideas, and more IMPORTANTLY the need for sports.

Insurance- the act, system, or business of insuring property, life, one's person, etc., against loss or harm arising in specified contingencies, as fire, accident, death, disablement, or the like, in consideration of a payment proportionate to the risk involved.

With such a universal definition, it will boil down to original ideas, amongst other small things done correctly, that determines the winners and losers of the insurance battles.  Priority number one for insurance companies, find a way to make yourself visible in the sports world..........gym44
