Reason #51

Coach Urban Meyer
First College Coaching job at Ohio State University (1986)

Yes, Football is back. I like most other football junkies can finally start to Breath a sigh of RELIEF. So, as we embark on another football season, its only right that we take brief look at one of the MOST influential Coaches that the game currently has.

 “Read, read, read. Read everything”
- William Faulkner

That Quote by William Faulkner strikes so many chords, and should Create some incentive for you to read as many books as possible, here is WHY.....

On Page 99, In "Urban's Way," it goes into detail about Urban Meyer's time coaching at Bowling Green.

And It States.

"Meyer began recruiting Walk-Ons for the Kickoff team by (ADVERTISING) in the school paper."

(LIGHT BULB)

With that being said, imagine if that "NIKE SYMBOL," that is sitting on the right side of both Tim Tebow and Coach Meyer's chest, can now be placed on a Try-out......gym44

And the Coaches in which make it a point of emphasis to fill there rosters with high quality players, usually are the ones who win.

Football parallels life is ways that I am not even going to attempt to put into words. But, lets look at one simple example. We started this blog with a picture of Coach Meyer coaching at Ohio State in 1986, and now (above) we see that SAME guy as the  Head Coach at Ohio State. The two things that have stayed the same throughout his journey, are the PLAYERS, and that "NIKE SYMBOL."  Except in this picture it is on the "Left," side of the players CHEST.

AHHHHH, I LOVE FOOTBALL!!!!
